NIHR CLAHRC Funded Studentship The performance and uptake of colorectal cancer screening



This PhD student will use quantitative or mixed methods to investigate how to optimise the performance and uptake of colorectal cancer screening in the UK. The PhD may particularly consider disadvantaged communities, but there is some flexibility in the research question and scope dependent on the student’s interests and previous experience.

Awards available: 1 award available.

Funding Details: full fees for the successful candidate along with a tax free maintenance allowance in line with Research Council UK standard stipend (£13,726 for the previous year 2013/14)

Length of Award: 3 years (PhD)

Eligibility: Due to funding restrictions this studentship is available to Home and EU students, according to fee status, that meet Research Council eligibility requirements based on residency.
