You will be medically qualified professional, with an interest in orthopaedics or biomechanics.

You will be based within the Manchester Academy of Health Sciences, incorporating the University of Manchester, Central Manchester Foundation Trust and Salford Royal Foundation Trust. The post is funded by the NIHR Manchester Musculoskeletal Biomedical Research Unit and the project complements the aim of the BRU, which is ?Treat arthritis: Right first time?.

Appointments will be for 12 months full-time with registration to complete an MPhil. During this time, you will be encouraged to work with your supervisor(s) and the University of Manchester Faculty Fellowship Academy Team to apply for one or more external fellowships that facilitates transfer to complete a PhD.
