Funded Masters in Sensor and Imaging Systems starting September 2014

The College of Science and Engineering at the University of Glasgow is offering funded places for the MSc in Sensor and Imaging Systems, available for the September 2014 intake.

The MSc in Sensor and Imaging Systems focuses on the technologies and techniques that underpin a vast range of societal, research and industrial needs. Sensing and sensor systems are essential for advances in research across all fields of physics, engineering and chemistry and are enhanced when multiple sensing functions are combined into arrays to enable imaging. This is an industry-focused programme.

This exciting new programme will allow you to benefit from the combined resources and complementary expertise of staff from four Schools in two top ranking Russell Group universities: the Schools of Physics and Astronomy, and Electronic and Electrical Engineering at the University of Glasgow; and the Schools of Chemistry and Engineering at the University of Edinburgh; working together to offer you a curriculum relevant to the needs of industry.

This funding is an excellent opportunity to gain additional skills and expertise at a postgraduate level, with programmes being selected on the basis of industry skills gaps in Scotland.

Eligibility and Entry Requirements

This funding has been awarded to the University of Glasgow from the Scottish Funding Council. This funding is for tuition fees only and is available to Scottish and EU students.
