This excellent opportunity has arisen at our superb historic campus on the edge of Cirencester. An important member of our IT Services team, you will be expected to provide first and second line IT support to students and staff, undertaking a range of duties to support our systems including hardware, software, networking and consumables.


The role will involve logging and allocation of Helpdesk tasks including any troubleshooting, carrying out routine operational duties, specific project work to upgrade and maintain all aspects of the University IT infrastructure, installing application and systems software plus the installation and configuration of hardware, including computers, mobile devices, servers, printers and network equipment.


Fully proficient in supporting Windows OS, MS Office and desktop applications, you must have experience of installing software including upgrading and troubleshooting PCs and printers. Excellent customer service and communications skills will be essential along with the ability to work effectively on your own initiative.
