MiSoC Studentships

The Institute for Social & Economic Research (ISER) is seeking applications for two ESRC-funded PhD studentships linked to the ESRC Centre for Microsocial Change (MiSoC). The studentships are for three years and are available to start either October 2015 or January 2016.

Both PhD projects will be part of ISER’s PhD Programme on Applied Social & Economic Research and the successful applicants will be part of the ESRC-accredited Essex Doctoral Training Centre. Each studentship is funded to include the enhanced ‘AQM’ annual stipend of £3,000 for maintenance and £250 for research training because both projects will involve the use of advanced quantitative methods.

Project 1 led by Prof Adeline Delavande and Project 2 by Prof Sonia Bhalotra. Details of the two projects and how to apply are described here.
