Commonwealth Shared Scholarship-offered by University of Nottingham

The commonwealth shared scholarship is for students from developing commonwealth countries and it will cover the following:

• 100% of tuition fees;
• return airfare to the UK
• a maintenance award and additional allowances

Eligibility Criteria for commonwealth shared scholarship

Any interested student must meet the following criteria to apply:

• are a Commonwealth citizen, refugee or British protected person who is permanently resident in a developing Commonwealth country (please see the CSC’s webpage for a list of eligible countries) AND;
• are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes AND;
• have not studied or worked for one (academic) year or more in a developed country AND;
• are unable, either yourself or through your family, to pay to study in the UK AND;
• are not currently studying at a University of Nottingham campus or are not a University of Nottingham graduate AND;
• by August 2017, hold a first degree of either first or upper second class (2:1) classification, or lower second class (2:2) classification plus a relevant postgraduate qualification (usually a masters degree) AND;
• You must also have an offer to study any of the following medical science programs at Nottingham by September 2017 in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences:Advanced Nursing MSc

  Cancer Immunology and Biotechnology MSc
  Clinical Microbiology MSc
  Microbiology and Immunology MSc
  Molecular Genetics and Diagnostics MSc
  Molecular Medical Microbiology MSc
  Oncology MSc
  Public Health MPH
  Public Health (International Health) MPH
