Assistant/Associate Professor in Molecular Nutrition

The School of Biosciences at the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus is looking to recruit high calibre, dynamic, qualified and dedicated individuals to join the expanding team of teaching and research staff. Applicants should have completed a PhD in the relevant discipline and have at least three (3) years teaching experience at undergraduate level and research profile commensurate with their stage of career. In addition to teaching and administrative roles you will be expected to develop a strong research profile relevant to your areas of expertise.

The campus offers good facilities for molecular biology, analytical biochemistry and cell culture and facilitates collaborative opportunities for animal and human intervention studies, both with the UK Campus and other Malaysian Institutions.

The School currently offers an undergraduate BSc degree in Nutritional Science (parallel to the same degree offered in the UK). In collaboration with colleagues on the UK Campus, the School has research interests which span from whole body physiology, cellular metabolic processes to the molecular mechanisms of nutrient-gene interaction.
