0.5 FTE with an opportunity for 0.5 PhD studies

There is an exciting and quite unique opportunity within the School of Health Sciences for two enthusiastic, motivated and qualified Physiotherapists to join the innovative teaching team in Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University’s School of Health Sciences.

The successful candidates will be required to join the existing team of lecturers in developing, delivering and evaluating the undergraduate and pre and post-registration programmes as well as providing support to students in the clinical workplace (0.5FTE). In conjunction with these duties they will be offered an opportunity to study for PhD (unsalaried as 0.5 part-time student, with fees paid by QMU), thus combining teaching experience with a chance to study for a higher qualification.

They will hold a BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy. They should possess leadership skills and, with a positive outlook, have good interpersonal skills that will enable them to work collaboratively with colleagues, clinicians and placement providers.
