The American Association of University Women (AAUW) was setup to encourage equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.
The Fellowships are for study or research in the United States for one year. Preference will be given to women who show prior commitment to the advancement of women and give through civic, community or professional work.
To qualify for this scholarship, the student must be enrolling into a full-time graduate or postgraduate study or research program. Candidate must not be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and must hold the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor degree.
