BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The ABPA Harrington-Arthur Memorial Scholarship Essay Competition is made to award students who wish to enhance their knowledge of Cross-Connection Control and Backflow Prevention help to ensure safe drinking water. The Backflow Prevention help is made to prevent bad chemicals/bacteria from entering water streams that enter the homes nearby. ELIGIBILITY
- Essays must contain 700-1200 words
- Essay topic must be based on explaining the relationship between lawn irrigation systems and backflow prevention, how these irrigation systems can be a threat to potable water supplies, and how can the water supplies be protected.
