2016 Forestry and Fishery scholarships at University of British Columbia


The University of British Columbia through the support of donors and the provincial and federal governments, it offers a range of programs that recognize students with outstanding academic achievement and provides financial assistance to students who cannot meet basic educational costs

The university provides Over $50,000 Forestry and fishery scholarship funding is available each year to be given to qualified Forestry and fishery students! In high academic standing

Eligibility for the Forestry and Fishery Scholarship

  • you have an overall GPA (Term 1 and Term 2classes) of 75% or higher based on your best 27 credits taken during the year;
  • you take 27 credits or more this year;
  • you passed all your courses in the current year; and
  • you are registered in at least 24 credits for the following year.

The University of British Columbia is a welcoming university for many programs. According to them: If you would like a degree from UBC Forestry, apply as an International Student. You can come to us directly from secondary school (including, for example, Gymnasium, International Baccalaureate or British-Patterned Education) or may transfer to UBC after one or two years at another accredited institution. International Students in the Faculty of Forestry can apply for the Co-op work placements or our exchange programs in the faculty.
